Hope for Animals Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to support individuals, organizations, and youth who dedicate themselves to the welfare of homeless pets and the conservation of local wildlife. We work to protect and care for thousands of neglected, abandoned, and homeless animals while inspiring the next generation of compassionate leaders.

Be The Sunshine During Dark Days.

To a dog or cat, their human companion is their entire world, offering love, trust, and security. It is heartbreaking to witness the suffering of these loyal creatures when they are starved, abused, neglected, or abandoned. For animals born onto the streets, life is a relentless cycle of fear, pain, and hardship. The struggle is no different for local wildlife, which often faces challenges from habitat loss, injury, or environmental changes.

The plight of these animals reflects the pressing need for compassion and action within our communities. By addressing the root causes of neglect and creating more awareness about humane treatment, we can alleviate the pain and fear that so many animals endure daily.

Be The Sunshine During Dark Days.

Thankfully, shelters, rescue organizations, wildlife rehabilitates, and individual feeder groups across Miami-Dade and Broward Counties volunteer tirelessly to help these animals, providing care, rehabilitation, and the hope of a better life. These are the heroes we proudly serve and support.

We also believe that empowering youth is essential to creating lasting change. Through our educational programs and leadership opportunities, we aim to inspire the next generation to advocate for animals, protect wildlife, and build a compassionate, sustainable future for all living beings. Together, we can make a difference.

Program & Services

Animal Rescue Service

We support our community by closely networking with dozens of Colony Feeders and Trappers. They are our boots-on-the-ground, and they rely heavily on our support services. Together, we work to rescue and rehabilitate animals, ensuring they receive the care and resources needed to thrive.

Nurture & Educate

Hope for Animals Foundation educates the public and empowers youth to advocate for animal welfare and wildlife conservation, creating a compassionate and sustainable future. Through workshops, outreach programs, and hands-on learning opportunities, we inspire individuals of all ages to take meaningful action in their communities.

Food & Supplies

We provide food and supplies to several large shelters in our community as well as to individual colony feeders. By ensuring these animals have access to proper nutrition and essential care items, we help improve their overall health and quality of life. Additionally, our efforts reduce the strain on shelters and feeders, enabling them to focus on providing a safe and supportive environment for animals in need.

Provide Financial Assistance

We help bring Colony Feeders and Trappers together through our coordinated efforts when animals appear to be sick, critically injured or even near death. We collaborate with local veterinarians to ensure that the animals receive the best possible care. Hope for Animals covers the vet bills thanks to generous donations from our donors.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Mission for Hope for Animals Foundation?

To provide hope and support for homeless, abandoned or abused animals and promote compassionate and humane vet services for animals that urgently need care.

How is the Hope for Animals Foundation different?

We are different because we help support shelters, rescue groups and individual feeders by supplying food and financial assistance to them. This allows for these groups to directly focus on their mission of helping animals rather than chasing after donations.

Is Hope for Animals Foundation considered a 501(c)(3), non-profit?

Yes and all of your donations are tax deductible.

Can I adopt a Cat or Dog directly from Hope for Animals Foundation?

No. However, we can align you with one of the amazing animal shelters that we work closely with in your area. Please remember that Hope for Animals Foundation currently services Miami Dade County and Broward County, Florida.

What is Animal Rescue?

Animal rescue is a social service that helps protect animals from dangerous situations that often involve cruelty, neglect, homelessness and abuse. Animal rescue often involves TNR (trap, neuter & return) services as well as fundraising to provide funds for animals that require urgent vet care. Many rescues raise funds to provide feeders with food and resources to help service hundreds of cat colonies in their community each year.

What is the difference between an Animal Rescue and Animal Shelter?

The biggest difference is that most shelters keep their available pets in a single facility, while most rescue groups keep theirs in the homes of volunteers and fosters. Also, shelters usually have some paid staff as well as volunteers, while rescue groups are almost always all-volunteer efforts.
